The World In Our Words II: A Global Tapestry of Poetry
It all starts with a single ideaβthe spark that ignites a shared journey. The World In Our Words II is more than just a poetry book; it's a celebration of voices, cultures, and the boundless power of human expression. This collection brings together poets from every corner of the globe, united in their desire to share their truths, their dreams, and their stories through the art of verse.
Curated by Stephanie Rowe, a visionary editor and coordinator, this anthology transcends bordersβwhether geographical, political, or culturalβto unite us in our collective humanity. Set for release in March or April 2026, this book offers a unique opportunity to see the world through the eyes of its poets, in a multitude of languages.
From the joy of creative freedom to the celebration of diverse traditions, The World In Our Words II serves as a bridgeβconnecting us through the beauty of poetry and the universal emotions that bind us all. The poems in this anthology accepts all languages not only English like the previous book.
It all begins with an idea. The World In Our Words II is a second poetry book, following the success of the first book self published in 2024.
How did it start?
The previous The World In Our Words called for contributions via social media and personal networks brought together twenty-two poets from across the globe, representing countries such as Israel, Scotland, Ireland, America, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and Australia. This collection celebrates the variety of human experience through poetry written in native languages, breaking down cultural and linguistic barriers.
The submitted works showcase an impressive range of themes and styles, encompassing the serious, the humorous, and everything in between. "The World In Our Words" highlights the multifaceted nature of humanity through the lens of poetry, making it a truly unique and enriching project.
The book is available online through my website and various other digital book platforms. For questions or to connect, please reach out via social media. Your participation and inquiries are warmly welcomed.
Second Poetry book information:
The second book, "The World In Our Words II," is now closed for submissions for all individuals internationally.
This project originated from a personal desire to publish my collection of poetry but evolved into a collaborative community effort when it became clear there wasnβt enough content for a solo publication. By combining my passion for poetry with a commitment to community, I created a platform that welcomes diverse voices, especially those with limited opportunities to share their work.
There is no theme, or rules which are placed on the poet when submitting. If the poems have been in previous works, they are able to be submitted for consideration for the second World In Our Words.
