Dear Diary Letter Club orders ship towards the end of each month. (Typically the 22nd - 26th) Check my socials/website for the official ship date each month.
The monthly sign-up cutoff is the 20th. If you sign up after the 20th of the month, you will receive the next month's print as your first. (eg. you sign up August 21st, your first order will ship in the last week of September.)
When you join at the beginning of a sign up period, (21st - 26th) there may be some overlap in your payments before receiving your first print. Rest assured every transaction corresponds to a unique print!
